MISSING IN ACTION!

My apologies to all those who have been visiting this blog only to find the same old stale posts. We have been busy in the last few weeks. Some of our activities were spending a day/night in Oxford with our princess. As she is in the punting club, she took us punting. We will definitely do this again.

We then went to Windsor the next day. Windsor Castle is spectacular. In my opinion, it is much nicer than Buckingham Palace.

Lastly, the main reason I can't comment on your blogs is because of this: -

Yes, my 'ewe' key is broken. I have to wait for my new laptop to come before I can comment on your blogs. To type the 'ewe' key, I have to press for like 20-30 times.

I hope you will all understand.

FIT!! NOT FAT!

My sister tells me that I need to get fit by walking, exercising, blah, blah, blah. I am well known for being a couch potato. So, I decided to buy a Wii Fit!

I don't like the thought of getting out of the house after work to the gym. So, working out at home on my Wii Fit in my pyjamas suits me to the tee! Don't I look sexy in my pj's?

Ok, don't laugh but when I first got on, my 'trainer' tested me on my body athletic fitness and I was told I had a body fitness of a 77 years old! Michael and I couldn't stop laughing. After three weeks of half an hour to 45 minutes' exercise, my BAF is improving. Wouldn't you like to know what it is. My BMI (body mass index) is ideal!! Ahemmmm......

So, with my nightly exercise routine, I have less time for blogging, blog hopping but I don't feel guilty eating .....
Fried chicken with rice and mixed vegies

Kueh teow soup Beef casserole

Coffee and walnut cake
Lasagne
Chicken Casserole
Prawns in basil
Fried chips
Tuna and salad roll
Roast lamb in gigantic yorkshire pudding
Mixed vegies in garlic olive oil and herbs
Trifle
Lambshanks
Chicken Thai curry
Chicken with sesame oil and ginger
AM I DECEIVING MYSELF? Oh well, I live to eat!

WHERE IS BEE?

This post may sound a bit like the 'Where is Wally?' book. Well, not quite, mine is more colourful and the pictures are bigger.

I have been missing in action for a few reasons which I will post another time. In the meantime, the 'bee' was enjoying her honey.........

HERE
and HERE

SO, WHERE WAS I? Which part of England??

Update: Seeing that Carrots is so smart to say England, I have rephrased my question.

BEE IS HERE!

Bee (my Chinese name) is not dead, I am here!

Some of you must get so tired of coming here and find that there is no update. Then I get a comment on my Facebook from this girl's sister asking me to update because she wants to see food and needs entertainment.

So, I think it is about time I update something even though it may be rubbish.Photobucket

As mentioned in my previous post, I lost some photos of food, therefore the only food I could show you are these: -

I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast yesterday.
Then for lunch, a much craved bacon and egg sandwich with tomato sauce! Bacon and egg sandwich is not the same without tomato sauce. Agree?
It was a very lazy weekend for me. This kind Kokky person ordered PCK vcds for me when I put a youtube link (sent to me by my friend, J from Melbourne). He realised how much I love watching PCK and made an effort to search whatever there was on the market for me. I was truly touched.
Between yesterday and today, I have gone through a pack (one season) and am in the midst of another pack. You would not believe me if I told you that I was in tears watching the last one which is the finale and PCK (Gurmit Singh) made a speech, thanking God for everything and showing his love and appreciation to his family and his cast, it was a very humbling process. He had a lump in his throat and I had tears rolling down my eyes. What a humble guy Gurmit Singh is.

These 2 packs of vcds are coming with me to Melbourne in July/August. I am sure my parents will enjoy watching them as well.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

We took our princess back to Oxford on Thursday. Spring has sprung! Beautiful tulips greeted us as we arrived at St Anne's College
Since moving to this blog, I feel like I have lost momentum. Not knowing what to write, not having anything to write about and forgetting to blog hop. The annoying thing too was whatever I cooked over the two weeks, I forget to take photos and photos that I transferred to my disc have been lost.

Two weeks of holidays have flown by so quickly and as one ages, time is precious. Looking back, I ask myself if I have made good use of my two weeks' holidays. Apart from my: -

1. Dental appointment;
2. Spending a couple of hours here and there at the office;
3. Lunch with governor;
4. A day out at Knole Park with 'Dee';
5. Dinner parties for my church friends over two Saturdays;
6. Yesterday at O2 with 'Dee' for Tutankhamun exhibition and lunch;

have I made the most of my holidays?

SpringrollsOne and only satay left after dinner on Saturday.

I overstocked on nuts seeing that they were on offer and made my own raw mix with fruits for lau ang!

Anyway, I don't know why but I do feel awfully lazy today and while I am updating here, lau ang is making me coffee and cheese on toast for lunch. Ah.......this is life!! Back to work on Monday and not exactly looking forward to it!

CLOCKWISE

WHY CLOCKWISE?

Driving to work, the traffic report on the radio came on which goes something like this: -
"Bad traffic on M25, junction 8 and 9 anti-clockwise due to minor accident."

My mind went on cruise control and I started to think of more important things like 'clockwise' and 'anticlockwise'.

How do you say these words in Hokkien? Would it be 'see cheng chong beng' (clock wise/smart) and 'see cheng boh chong beng' (clock not wise/smart)?

According to Kok there are such words in Mandarin. So, are these two words available in the Hokkien vocabulary? Makes my mind boggle.
